ACTIVITIES

INDIAN GAMES & TEAM GAMES

One thing that a kid will never get to do in America is play Indian games such as Kho, Khabadi, Langhri, etc.  At camp, playing these Indian games teaches kids about their culture, teamwork, and cooperation.  Kids also play team-building games that install values that will help them in future endeavors.

ARTS & CRAFTS

Campers can show us their creative and artistic side during Arts & Crafts.  Campers will learn such traditional Indian art such as Mehendhi, Rangoli, and Torans.  Other arts & crafts projects include making the Indian flag, making a map of India, paper mache, cooking, sand art, yarn projects, and many more.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Campers can enjoy a wide variety of recreational sports.  With a huge pool, swimming is always the favorite sport.  Besides swimming, there's also basketball, volleyball, canoeing, tennis, archery, ultimate frisbee, and kickball.  There's also pony rides, playgrounds, and a petting zoo for the youngest campers.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Campers can show off their talents in the talent show.  They can also show off their dramatic skills during skit night, where every camper participates in a skit demonstrating what they learned at camp.  Other fun cultural activities include Garba/Raas/Bhangra and Holi.
